SUCCESS Scholars Program

About the Program:

The focus of the SUCCESS Scholars Program at Massasoit is to provide wraparound supports and services to improve outcomes for Massasoitโ€™s most vulnerable populations.

Students are encouraged to join SUCCESS at Massasoit Community College through targeted outreach that follows an opt-in and opt-out (i.e., hybrid) model. Eligible students who are interested in SUCCESS may be referred to the program as well. All SUCCESS students at Massasoit are supported by the program until they earn their certificate/degree, transfer, opt-out or become inactive. By design, students are aware that they are receiving services through SUCCESS. Other units that support SUCCESS at Massasoit include Center for Employee Enrichment & Development , academic affairs, library services, grants, unity center advising, student affairs, academic affairs, IT, athletics, student life and institutional research.

SUCCESS also collaborates with faculty to support the program. The nature of the collaboration is with a professor to run our English 101 course which was closed to SUCCESS students. Additional collaboration comes from outreach to support the academic performance of students during Alert campaigns.
