SUCCESS at Greenfield Community College
About the Program:
SUCCESS at Greenfield Community College (GCC) provides students with advising, coaching, and peer mentoring. Success coaching emphasizes relationship-building, proactive outreach, consistent follow-up, and use of existing resources. By engaging with SUCCESS services at GCC, students will develop an intentional and personalized academic plan; set priorities based on their capacity, goals, and values; navigate GCC policies, expectations, and technology to engage with the institution; develop a sense of agency and ownership of their educational experience; and feel that they belong in the GCC community.
SUCCESS services are offered through the Advising Center. Eligible students are identified at the time of enrollment and automatically enrolled in SUCCESS. By design, students are not made aware that they have been identified as eligible for SUCCESS services. Students are encouraged to engage with SUCCESS services at GCC through consistent and targeted outreach. They continue to receive services until they earn their degree or certificate. Students are also supported by financial aid, wellness services, peer tutoring, career services, and all other student services available at the college.
